Fishers Real Estate News

This is a snapshot of what is/was happening in August 2009 for the Woodberry subdivision in Fishers. If you would like to see the current inventory or would like more up to date info, please visit our Woodberry homes for sale Fishers page.

Today I wanted to look at one of Fishers more affordable neighborhoods and see how it is doing in this tough real estate market, Woodberry. Woodberry is a more affordable neighborhood in Fishers located just south of 146th off of Cumberland Road.

Let’s take a look at how Woodberry in Fishers is doing:

Well, the number of homes sold is the exact same as this time last year which is an amazing feat in itself. The average sales price is down slightly which is pretty typical and actually even a little better than average right now. The days on the market is down a whopping 34%, this could be a great sign but put too much trust in this as this is an easily manipulated number. Homes in Woodberry are also still selling for 96% of the asking price.

Overall, Woodberry seems to be holding its own in this market. It makes sense that a more affordable neighborhood would be doing better in this economy. If you are looking at buying or selling a home or anywhere else in Fishers, please visit our Fishers real estate page for more information.

Congrats to Fishers, IN! Especially the Woodberry subdivision. I like the chart by the way. It really shows a clear market perspective.
