Westfield is Growing Up

Chicago Based Pine Tree Commercial Realty is proposing a new 430,000 square feet, $83 million high end retail center in Westfield.  The proposed project would be located on US 31 and 169^th streets.  I am telling you this is a great sign for Westfield Real Estate and another indication that Westfield is stepping out of Carmel’s shadow and emerging as yet another powerhouse in Hamilton County.  Nothing of this magnitude has ever been proposed for the city of Westfield. 

Honestly, it seems questionable weather or not this is really a viable option or not with so much other high end shopping currently nearby or already in the works.  That is not the point though:  I think the real story here is that someone wants to invest $83 million in Westfield.  This is big for Westfield, and I am telling you…Westfield is on the upswing.
