Restaurant Review - Yat's

Restaurant Reviews

Yat’s, aah Yat’s.  What a delightful change in pace this restaurant is.  This ranks as one of my favorites in the city.  Yat’s is a New Orleans themed restaurant that has a constantly changing menu posted on a chalkboard.  All of the menu items are $5.50 and a ½ and ½ will run you $6.50.  I always get the ½ and ½ because it is so hard to choose just one thing.  My favorite item on the menu is hands down the white chicken chili.  They have all the New Orleans standards such as Jambalaya, Gumbo, etc., but they also offer many items you may not have heard of before.   No matter what you get, the food is always delicious and the service is excellent.

Yat’s now has three locations around Indy; one is Broadripple, Downtown, and the newest one in Fishers.  If have never been to Yat’s before or if you love spices and hot sauce, you MUST go to the one in Broadripple first.  For the first timers, it has a very eclectic atmosphere that must be experienced.  For the spice lovers, this is the only location with a wide selection of hot sauces.  The one in Broadripple is cash only and the other two accept credit cards.

I give this one a “worth every penny”.
