Keystone Mall to Expand

Indianapolis Real Estate News

The Keystone Mall is set to get a $100 million expansion adding about 20 stores over the next two years.  The 20% expansion of the mall will include the city’s second Nordstrom department store.  It will also include two parking structures with over 700 spaces and a bigger and re-located food court.

I think this expansion is a good thing, I have always found the Keystone Mall to be a bit odd and not user friendly.  Having to walk over the road to get the other half of the mall always struck me as a bad design.  That won’t change, but the walkway containing a few eateries which they call the “food court” will be expanded and moved closer to the new Nordstrom’s.

I am truly excited for this expansion; I think it will bolster the allure and prestige of this already desirable area.  This accompanied with the Renaissance Bay waterfront town homes and Woodfield Crossing, adding condos and a whole foods market, make Keystone one of the most electrifying places for Indianapolis Real Estate.
