Indianapolis Real Estate News

More good news for Indianapolis real estate, check out this link.

The article does a comparison of the top 30 real estate markets and projects that Indianapolis real estate will see  2.3% increase in the average sales price by the third quarter of 2008.  Compared to Las Vegas right below us on the list that is projected to post a 23% decrease in 2008, a 2.3% increase is like winning the lottery.

Will Indianapolis bounce back from the housing slump before the rest of the country?  I think so: based on the affordability and Indianapolis’ consistent and stable market I believe we will see a turnaround before the majority of other areas.  It only makes sense; we did not see a giant spike in price like other areas of the country hence we should be able to recover much quicker.

Whether you are looking for Indianapolis real estate, Carmel Indiana real estate, or Fishers homes now is a great time to buy a home a get a great deal on a home.  IMHO, we are already on the road to recovery especially in some of the more desirable north side locations.  Get into a home now, rent yours if you have to, pick up a commission rebate from Rebate Real Estate and you wont be sorry in a few years.

It is great to see your forcast. I don't have to tell you then to get your ducks in row for when it does come back. I am eager to see the start of the next up trend.

Curtis, Austin is not doing so bad is it? I don't know if it is just me, but I am busier than ever.

Ah! Yes Mike some of us are busy, but have you seen the stats for the town over all. There are actually some folks having hard time. It is not that I am worried about the agents we will survive it is the sellers in our market that I am most concerned for. I would like to see the inventory turn a bit faster.
