This is another post that has nothing to do with Indianapolis real estate or the like.  This is a recommendation for a great Indianapolis mechanic.  Once you find a good, reliable, and most important, trustworthy mechanic: I feel it is my obligation to spread the word to as many people as possible. 

With so many crooked, incompetent, and apathetic mechanics out there it is rare to stumble upon someone like this.  Malless Automotive located on 71st Street in Pike Township is worth the drive to get your care fixed here.  These guys are simply awesome. 

I initially went there on a recommendation from my brother in law and have had nothing but great experiences.  I have to admit when I first heard their name I thought it was “Malice” automotive.  I couldn’t understand why a mechanic would name a shop after what sounds like one of the seven deadly sins.  Alas, I was laughed at, made fun of, and corrected.

What really prompted this post was a story from my brother in law.  He had a clutch replaced about a year and a half ago and it went out on him.  Of course he took to Malless again and what did they say?  Well, it IS 6 months out of warranty but that part shouldn’t have failed so fast so we will replace it for free.  WHAT?  You just don’t get that kind of service anymore, especially at a mechanic.   So do yourself a favor and support these guys, it is worth the drive and you will probably save a ton of money in the long run.

I agree with you. I went there probably about 15 years ago for some car repairs and it sounds like they are just as good now as they were back then. I was very impressed with their competency, honesty, and timeliness. It IS well worth the drive!
