Hamilton County - Best Place to ...

Recently, Hamilton County has been showered with recognition from the national media as a top notch place live and raise a family.  CNN lists Fishers as the #10 best places to live the U.S. and Forbes recently ranked all of Hamilton County as the #1 best places in the entire country to raise a family. If you live in Indy you already know that Hamilton County offers stellar schools, almost non existent crime, relatively easy commutes, and bargain home prices compared to the rest of the country.  In addition, Hamilton County offers one of the most family friendly environments in the entire area and apparently the entire nation according to Forbes. All of this affects real estate in a big way.  It has been proven that homes that are...

Indianapolis Foreclosure Bus Gen...

If you read this post, you know we are having a foreclosure bus August 2nd in the Indianapolis and surrounding areas.  While I am certainly not the first one to come up with this idea, it is the first of its kind in the Indianapolis area.  Turns out we were able to generate some interest from the local media.  Take a look at the story from Rafael Sanchez on Channel 6 and no, he is not coming after me, he does do regular interviews as well: What is crazy is the response we got from this story.  I have not done any other advertising and within 24 hours of this story the bus is full, even after upgrading to the bigger bus.  I am still waiting for a few call backs to confirm and I imagine we will have a few cancellations, so

Fishers to Downtown Indianapolis...

Fishers and Noblesville residents who work downtown could have another viable option to the daily grind of commuting along I-69 towards downtown.  The Indianapolis Regional Transit Council is looking very seriously at utilizing existing railways to provide new mass transit options for residents of Hamilton County.  The rapid transit line would run from Noblesville and Fishers to downtown Indianapolis during rush hour in the morning and evening and would coordinate with IndyGo buses to pick up commuters.  This announcement is big because if this is completed in the timeframe they are talking about, 2-4 years; this is 6-8 years ahead of schedule.  The complete original rail project was projected to cost $690 million dollars and be...

Mo Money Mo Problems

Hamilton County’s population could double in the next 30 years if the prediction that came out on Monday comes true.  The current population count estimates Hamilton County’s at 256,000 which is already a 40% increase from 2000.  The current projections estimate that Hamilton County’s population could be as much as 436,000 by 2040.  From a real estate perspective, you could not ask for anything better.  Obviously, Carmel real estate, Fishers real estate, Noblesville real estate, and Westfield real estate all stand to benefit from this population boom.  If this trend continues, Hamilton County could replace Marion County with a current population of 865,000 as the state’s most populous. All of this growth is great, however as...
