The number of homes sold in Fishers is down significantly over last year, however the average sales remains almost the same with a very small decrease. One would expect that with an over 25% decrease in sales activity there would be a significant decrease in sales price as well. However, Fishers seems to be withstanding this soft market and is able to sustain its average sales price far better than other areas of Indianapolis and the country.
All in all, the Fishers Indiana real estate market is not that bad. However, now is a great time to buy a home because there are deals out there and the inventory is high meaning you have lots to choose from.
