Fishers Real Estate Report – April 2007

Listing:

April 2007 saw 352 new listings get added to the Fishers real estate market.  The newly added Fishers homes had an average listing price of $305,608.  In April of 2006, there were 354 homes added to the market and the average home in Fishers was listed for $306,274.  The number of homes added was almost identical, but the average listing price has gone down by $666.

Pending:

In April 2007, Fishers real estate had 207 properties go pending with an average asking price of $214,079.  The same month 2006 saw 184 properties go pending with an average asking price of $258,528.  That means in 2006 the average home that went pending was $44,449 or 17.19% more than in 2007.

Sold:

In April 2007, 142 Fishers homes sold with and average sales price of $198,485.  The average home took 72 days to sell and received 98% of the asking price.  In 2006, 145 closed with an average sales price of $202,480.  The average home in 2006 took 61 days to sell and received 98% of their asking price. The average home on the Fishers real estate market in May 2007 was down $3,995 or 1.97% over the same time last year.

As of 5/7/2007, there are 781 properties for sale in the Fishers real estate market.  In the past twelve months 1,773 Fishers homes have sold.  This means that the Fishers real estate market currently has a 5.3 month supply of houses if no new properties are added.
