Davis Homes Indianapolis Website

Indianapolis New Homes

If are looking for information on Davis Homes, your really need to read this blog post about mechanic's liens.

I just went to Davis homes website and they now require you to log in to just see the home page.  Who made that decision?  This is either just a really bad decision or an act of desperation to capture more email addresses.  People who are searching the internet are reluctant to give their personal information unless you show them some value first.  Requiring a log-in just to view the home page is a terrible blunder IMHO.  I think I will beef up my own Davis Homes Indianapolis page next week so I can capture some of their frustrated buyers who don’t want to log-in just to see a home page.  That way when people see my site with “free” information they will be more likely to click on me and learn what overall great guy I am and that I offer an insanely great deal for buyers.  Of course, when I do capture these buyers I will be obligated to let them know of the rumors swirling about and let them form their own opinions.

The people that are building there houses now are not the people that were building them six months ago.i know because we carried them for months like a lot of other people. They owe us thousands of dollars along with a lot of other companies.if you want to buy a new house right now trust me when i tell you the really good people that built all there models are no longer there.ask any of the people that are moving into there houses now how happy they are.And then ask them if they paid full price if they did they got screwed because davis is not paying there venders.

If you are building a davis home right now get ready to run it your self.they are down to two real supers and two helpers. and of the two real supers one has his notice in and the other is very actively looking.

@ Insider - Yikes! If what you are saying is true this does not bode well them at all. It sounds like the ship is sinking fast. Didn't the VP just resign as well?

If he left he did not resign he stood to loose to much .he lives in a davis home i think it was part of his deal plus cash.the supers cant build the houses because they dont know who to call from one day to the next.what a shame they took a great thing and threw it away. i bet if mike had it to do again he would never have merged best with davis the bigining of the end.

We closed on our Davis home in November, 2007. We were sued today, along with Davis Homes, our lender, their lender, and Irving Materials, by one of the vendors that Davis Homes has still not paid. I'm working with our title company to resolve the issue. Davis Homes signed an affidavid before closing attesting to the fact that all vendors had been paid. They haven't. I know of one other vendor that put a lien on our property after our closing date. Our lender suggested that we request the title company do a search at their expense to find out who else hasn't been paid. The title company is aware of the situation and is trying to resolve it. I don't believe we are the only one this has happened
too. The quality of the home has been ok, except for a massive
leak in our garage roof. The subcontractor did come and fix it. I assume he had been paid which is why the roof is no longer leaking. Beware of Davis Homes.

Kthomas - This is a VERY serious situation you are in. From my understanding, title insurance will not cover unrecorded liens and if Davis does go under you could left holding the bag and your house will be unsellable because you will not be able to convey clear title. What title company company are you dealing with? Is it affiliated with Davis at all?

I would like to speak with you more about this. If this is happening to others, this has the potential to be a HUGE problem and hurt many unsuspecting homeowners and we need to get the word out. Would you email me at mtaylor@indyrebaterealestate.com with either an email or a phone number I could contact you at? I feel obligated to let others know what is going on, but need have some facts before I start making accusations. Let me know if you can help. Thanks.
