Avon Real Estate Report - September 2007

The Avon real estate market does not have good news to report for September 2007; both the average home price fell and the number of homes sold is down.  In September 2007, 39 Avon homes sold for an average of $181,412 which equates to $84 per square foot.  This is down from last years numbers of 48 sales with an average sales price of $192,644.  What is interesting is that while the average purchase price is down 5.83% over last year, the average price per square foot stayed exactly the same. 

As of today, there are currently 446 Avon homes for sale with an average asking price of $196,476.  Over the past 12 months, 650 homes sold on the Avon real estate market; this means that if no new homes were added to the market there is an 8.23 months supply of homes.

Might not be the time to sell, however buyers can pick up a Great deal! Seems this way everywhere right now.
