Listing:
In April 2007, 175 homes were added to the Avon real estate market with an average list price of $199,419. In April 2006, 208 Avon homes were added to the market with an average list price of $180,826. This is an increase of $18,593 or 10.28% over 2006.
Pending:
April 2007 had 88 Avon homes go pending with an average list price of $177,604. The same month in 2006 saw 91 homes go pending with an average list price of $169,583. The average pending home in Avon went up $8,021 or 4.73%
Sold:
The Avon real estate market had 67 homes close in April 2007 with an average sales price of $163,707. The average Avon home took 66 days to sell and received 96.19% of its asking price. In 2006, 69 Avon homes sold and the average home sold for $173,171. It took 71 days to sell the average home and it received 97.03% of the asking price. The sold homes indicate that the average Avon home sold for $9,464 or 5.47% less than in 2006.
The numbers are mixed for the Avon real estate market for April 2007. While the active listings and pending listings are above last years numbers, the sold properties are down slightly. As of 5/9/2007 there are 421 homes for sale in the Avon real estate market and last year 682 Avon homes sold. This means that there is currently a 7.4 month supply of homes in Avon if no homes are added to the market.
