We are pregnant!!!! This is our first and I am soooooo excited. We have known for a little bit and should find out the sex in about 2 weeks. First and foremost all that we want is a healthy baby, but if I am being honest I am really pulling for a boy.
The initial shock and awe of being pregnant and getting the label “parent” has worn off and now I cannot wait.

I just got back, actually I am writing this from a ferry ride heading back to Vancouver, from a real estate conference in British Columbia. It was not your traditional real estate conference; rather it was put on by the people who host my website and was a gathering of some of THE most web savvy agents from around North America. I was able to meet some amazingly knowledgeable agents and brokers, forged several great relationships, and shared ideas with some of the most knowledgeable agents in North America. As good as I might like to think I am at real estate, websites, internet marketing etc. I was truly humbled this week by the agents I met. Being able to bump elbows with these bright minds and pick the brains of people with many...

In an effort to gain more exposure I have recently added this blog’s RSS feed to a new site called RSS Huger. This seems like a quality directory and all blogs are manually reviewed to avoid spammy blogs. You are also required to write a blog about the site, hence this post. So, if you have a blog and haven’t added to RSS Huger, go check them out.

Rebate Real Estate has jumped through some hoops and it now a member of the Better Business Bureau. I actually went one step further and joined the BBB-online as well so that I could display the logo on the website. I really want people to know that we are an upstanding business in this community and stand by our word. What better way to do this than join the BBB? Rebate Real Estate is an honest, trustworthy company I want the world to know it.
I know when I am online, looking at ads, or looking through the yellow pages (I rarely resort this anymore) when I see the BBB logo I already trust the company more. I hope this will have the same affect on potential customers and casual internet surfers.
So what do you think? Good...

This is another post that has nothing to do with Indianapolis real estate or the like. This is a recommendation for a great Indianapolis mechanic. Once you find a good, reliable, and most important, trustworthy mechanic: I feel it is my obligation to spread the word to as many people as possible. With so many crooked, incompetent, and apathetic mechanics out there it is rare to stumble upon someone like this. Malless Automotive located on 71st Street in Pike Township is worth the drive to get your care fixed here. These guys are simply awesome. I initially went there on a recommendation from my brother in law and have had nothing but great experiences. I have to admit when I first heard their name I thought it was “Malice”...

I am back from vacation and it is on and poppin’. My batteries are recharged and I was even able to sell a house while in Mexico thanks to some very loyal clients. I included a couple photos, one of all us on the trip ( I am on the right), and one of Acapulco Bay. I am officially sick of margaritas and Mexican food.
I have tons to do and catch up on. I am hopefully closing on house Monday, wrapping up another deal, listing a house this week, and should be writing a new offer tomorrow. I have also started to create a Squidoo lens on Indianapolis real estate and will post it here when I have it complete.

Did you know that it takes 714 pounds of coal to keep a simple 100 watt light bulb lit for one year? Do you ever leave a room or go to work with a light bulb on? I do too. Think about this…there are approximately 320,000 Indianapolis homes (not counting Carmel, Fishers, Avon, Greenwood, etc.); if we could each save just half of this we would save 114,240,000 pounds of coal. We would also not put: 800,000 pounds of sulfur dioxide, 816,000 of nitrogen oxides, and 296,320,000 pounds of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
Don’t get me wrong, you will not see me on some Greenpeace boat chasing down an oil tanker anytime soon, but I do think it is our obligation to do our part. So next time you notice that light on, think about...
