The Avon real estate market does not have good news to report for September 2007; both the average home price fell and the number of homes sold is down. In September 2007, 39 Avon homes sold for an average of $181,412 which equates to $84 per square foot. This is down from last years numbers of 48 sales with an average sales price of $192,644. What is interesting is that while the average purchase price is down 5.83% over last year, the average price per square foot stayed exactly the same. As of today, there are currently 446 Avon homes for sale with an average asking price of $196,476.
