The Lawrence Township School District has an enrollment of over 16,000 students which makes it the sixth largest school district in the state of Indiana. The Lawrence Township School District consists of 4 early learning sites, 11 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, and 2 high schools. Lawrence Townships schools pride themselves on high academic achievement. Eight of the Lawrence's schools have been named National Blue Ribbon Schools and they have also been named on of the three most technologically advanced school districts in the state by the Ohana Foundation.
