Carmel has joined forces with Clay Township and Hamilton County to provide its residents with 13 parks, including the new 161 acre Central Park and two more in the works. Two of the most exciting projects are the Monon Center, a 146,000 square foot multi-use facility and the Outdoor Aqua Park both set to open in 2007. Carmel residents can use these parks to do just about anything including: boating, biking, in-line skating, skateboarding, swimming, fishing, softball, basketball, soccer and so much more.
