The Brownsburg Police Department is committed to providing a safe environment for its citizens.  The Police Department  consists of 25 officers, 7 dispatchers, and 10 reserve officers.  Brownsburg is also served by the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Department as well as the Indiana State Police.

The Brownsburg Fire Department consists of 42 full time fire fighters, 20 volunteers, 3 fire trucks, 1 rescue truck, 1 aerial truck, and 3 ambulances.  The Fire Department provides service for more than 52 square miles of territory in Hendricks County.
